Modulation Index is headed by Greg J. Ogonowski. Having been
involved with the professional broadcast industry for over
30 years, and developing high quality streaming audio for
10 years, this experience has led to the development of the
PAD:: series of software products. He is also co-developer
of the Orban OptimodŽ Digital Series of Broadcast Audio Processing
Systems, including Orban Optimod-PC, and the Orban Opticodec-PC
File and Streaming Encoders, the first commercially available
AAC/HE-AAC/aacPlus™ audio encoders for Internet and
mobile streaming.
Product development is a collective effort
between broadcast engineering and IT professionals, and a
computer science higher degreed software engineer. Since reliability,
robustness, efficiency, and user interface are of utmost importance,
there are no beginners, hackers, or enthusiasts here.
Product support is perfomed by high level
broadcast engineers and IT professionals. Because broadcasting
and netcasting are 24/7 events, product support is available
24/7.
The Modulation Index development laboratory
consists of all the latest broadcast signal generating and
monitoring euipment, including several different RDS encoders,
monitors, consumer receivers, FM exciters, and streaming encoders
and servers. This allows for device compatibility, thourough
software development and testing, and complete capable technical
support.
